Help SharePoint customers cut storage costs without changing how users work
BlobBridge gives Microsoft 365 and SharePoint partners a practical way to solve storage cost, archive access, and large-file problems using customer-owned Azure Blob Storage inside a familiar SharePoint experience.
For MSPs, SharePoint consultancies, Microsoft 365 specialists, and Azure governance partners.
Who should partner with BlobBridge?
BlobBridge works best where there is existing SharePoint or Azure expertise, or where storage cost and archive access conversations already arise naturally with customers.
SharePoint & M365 Consultancies
You already understand SharePoint architecture and can deploy, configure, and support BlobBridge as part of governance or document management engagements.
MSPs Supporting M365 Tenants
You manage SharePoint environments for multiple customers and are well placed to identify storage cost issues and propose BlobBridge as a managed service component.
Azure Cost & Governance Partners
You work on Azure spend optimisation and storage governance. BlobBridge extends that work into the SharePoint layer where content storage costs accumulate.
Archive & Information Management Specialists
You handle migration, archive, and records projects. BlobBridge offers a lightweight active-archive path that keeps archived content accessible in SharePoint without full migration tooling.
Why partner with BlobBridge?
The commercial model is simple, the implementation footprint is small, and the problem BlobBridge solves is real and recurring across M365 tenants.
🎯 Easy to position
The customer conversation is straightforward: SharePoint storage is expensive and growing; Azure Blob is cheap and already available. BlobBridge connects them without disrupting how users work. No lengthy technical pre-sales required.
⚡ Fast pilot path
A single-site pilot can be delivered in the same week. Minimal footprint — web part deployment plus storage configuration — means you can demonstrate value quickly and move to wider rollout with low risk.
🔧 Services attach opportunity
Every BlobBridge deployment has associated services: Azure storage account setup, SAS model design, SharePoint configuration, and optionally ongoing support or storage governance review. The licence is the entry point, not the whole engagement.
💰 Low-friction commercial model
Tenant-based licensing at a fixed MSRP. 20–40% partner margin depending on tier. NFR licences available for internal use and evaluation. No per-user complexity, no per-site overhead — one licence covers the whole tenant.
When BlobBridge fits — and when it may not
Being clear about fit saves everyone time. Use this to qualify opportunities quickly before investing in a demo or pilot.
✓ Fits well when…
- Customer is paying for growing SharePoint Online storage and wants to reduce that cost
- Users need to continue working within SharePoint — they won't adopt a separate portal
- Content includes large files, media, design assets, or archive-weight documents that inflate storage
- Customer already uses Azure or is comfortable using it as the content store
- An active archive is needed — content must remain accessible, not just cold-stored
- Looking for a lighter-weight option than full migration tooling or custom development
✕ May not be the right fit when…
- Customer expects full native SharePoint document library behaviour for Blob-hosted content
- Requirement is for Blob content to directly inherit SharePoint document-level permissions
- Customer wants a zero-configuration solution with no Azure storage setup or management
- Use case is purely cold archive with no requirement for active SharePoint access
- Customer needs a full migration platform that moves and transforms content at scale

How partners typically monetise BlobBridge
The licence margin is the starting point. The services opportunity around each deployment is typically larger than the licence itself.
Azure Storage Setup
Provision the storage account and container(s), configure appropriate tiers, set up lifecycle policies and access controls. Typically a half-day to full-day engagement depending on complexity.
SAS Model Design & Rotation
Design the SAS token model, configure access scope and expiry, and establish a rotation process — manual or automated. Suitable for a defined implementation deliverable.
SharePoint Deployment & Configuration
Deploy the web part to the tenant app catalogue, configure per-site, set up pages and navigation. Repeatable across sites as usage grows.
Storage Governance Design
Define which content types belong in Blob vs SharePoint, design tiering and retention policy, and document the operating model for ongoing management. Pairs well with wider M365 governance engagements.
Pilot Rollout & Validation
Manage a single-site pilot from configuration through user acceptance. Structured pilot delivery gives customers confidence before wider rollout and gives you a repeatable delivery model.
Support / Managed Service Wrap
Offer an annual support tier or managed service that covers SAS rotation, configuration changes, and minor site additions. Recurring revenue on top of the initial licence and implementation.
How the partner process works
From initial conversation to repeatable delivery — four practical stages.
Intro & Qualification
We scope whether BlobBridge is a good fit for your customer base, discuss your service model, and identify a first opportunity together. Typically a 30-minute call.
Enablement
You receive NFR access, the partner deck, product documentation, and a 45-minute enablement session covering positioning, presales objections, and implementation overview.
First Opportunity / Pilot
Identify a suitable customer and run a single-site pilot. We provide qualification support and can assist with presales questions. Target: pilot delivered in the same week of starting.
Repeatable Delivery
Once the first pilot is complete and the delivery model is validated, expand across other customers or sites. Margin tier advances with volume. Managed service wrap is optional at any point.
Partner commercials
Simple tenant-based licensing. One licence covers the entire tenant — all sites, all users. No per-user or per-site complexity.
Partner Margin Structure
NFR licences provided for partner use and internal evaluation. Annual support / maintenance tiers available for customers who want ongoing coverage. Multi-tenant and volume opportunities can be discussed — contact us to talk through commercial options for larger deployments.
